Whoopie pies and deadly lies pdf download I read and reviewed this book with no obligation English This book in the Sandy Bay series will blow you away The main characters we have come to like still delight us When a well dressed high end looking woman Diane comes into Meghan s bakery Truly Sweet and orders whoopie pies a new recipe Trudy wanted to try since it was her mother s recipe and tells Meghan she should apply for a life changing grant since the foundation she works for wants to invest some money in the local business Meghan jumps at the chance And of course Trudy and her young part time employee Pamela are excited that with the grant they could really upgrade the bakery and maybe according to Pamela could expand to other places Well things get crazy from there her detective husband Jack got hurt at work and was given sick time off to stay at home since he couldn t work When the committee tells Meghan she won the grant new enemies were made since one of the other applicants a real sore loser made some threats Then we find Diane is murdered by poison which puts the grant into jeopardy The monkey wrench that was thrown into the mix is that Meghan s best friend Jackie is arrested for the murder since they found evidence in her beauty salon that ties her to the crime Of course Meghan has to get involved now and clear her friend s name With lots of twists and turns and lies that abound throughout we are taken on a real roller coaster ride until the end Once I started this book I couldn t put it down and had to read it all the way through Surprise ending This is a great series and you will love it too I received and ARC but the opinions expressed here are strictly my own English Whoopie Pies and Deadly Lies is Book 23 in The Sandy Bay Cozy Mystery Series Amber Crewes has written another outstanding book She always writes realistic characters with authentic problems Jack and Meghan have been married about a year When Jack hurts his leg he lies to Meghan about how the accident happens During the course of the story it is revealed that Jackie Trudy and Pamela all lie to Meghan Whoopie Pies and Deadly Lies have several exciting themes there is a company offering two million dollar grant for a small business Diane Walbrook is murdered and all of Meghan s close friends are lying to her Amber Crewes weaves the themes masterfully and she brings everything to a wonderful conclusion Butthis conclusion is VERY surprising I love this series and all of Amber s books I received an arc for free and am leaving my review voluntarily English Suddenly it seems that those closest to Meghan are not being quite truthful with her When a recent acquaintance is murdered Meghan is sure police have arrested the wrong person and sets out to find the true murderer So many lies and so many plot twists I enjoyed this book and am looking forward to the next one I received this book free and chose to make a voluntary unbiased review English Another delightful story Next please English
